Vincent of Team Marino Chrysler Jeep & Dodge and SRAL Climbs The Willis Tower
My name is Vincent Tufano and I am a disabled Athlete living with Muscular Dystrophy who became wheelchair bound after a fall hitting my head and spine.
Where doctors and therapist would say that their wasn’t hope and didn’t care to do more, Shirley Ryan Ability Lab heard my desires to try more and with their help I have gained more Ability than anyone could possibly dream. With their encouragement, I-am on their handcycling team and through them have joined Dare2tri and have been competing in triathalons.
On November 4th 2018 I have taken the challenge to cycle what those who can walk, up the Willis tower. I have competed in several tris and have taken 1st along with second place proving that anythings possible as long as you believe and put your whole heart and mind into it. I look forward to continuing that belief with this amazing challenge.
Join me by helping support an amazing hospital who goes above and beyond for their patients and gives them something more to strive for. In donating not only will you help Shirley Ryan Ability Lab but you will help bring me one step closer to reaching a new dream of mine, which is, too climb the Willis tower the only way I truly can via handcycling. Not everyone has the opportunity in life to do this challenge especially those living with Muscular Dystrophy and it’s time we change that.
Please share with your friends and family and if you can donate!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
