Ryan's Climb to 103
If you are visiting this page then you likely already know my story. I was in a motocross accident on Guam back in June of this year where I fractured my T12 Vertebra and suffered from a resulting Spinal Cord Injury. Thanks to the quick work of our United States Air Force and the dedicated and expert work of the RIC Therapists I am back up and walking(ish) within three months of my injury! My personal goal through all of this is to return back to Active Duty status in the world's greatest Air Force!
From the moment I heard about the SkyRise event I knew that I would have to do it. It just epitomizes my personal idea that there is no mountain insurmountable in life. Despite my weak legs, I am determined to conquer this mountain with a smile on my face and a "failure is not an option" attitude.
Thank you so much for considering to donate to this organization as they are true miracle workers. Know that people such as myself are so appreciative of the care we have received. Care that is made possible by people like you!
Ryan Novack, 2nd LT, USAF
