Let's Raise Some $$$$ for AbilityLab!
I am participating in my 8th SkyRise event to raise funds to provide for the amazing research and charity care offerred at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
If you want to know why you should donate, or just want to learn a little more about what we do - Please take a few minutes out of your day to watch this video featuring our staff and patients (and yours truly): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkmGVBbJKjI
SkyRise raises funds to support advances in patient care and cutting edge research at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago). SRALab provides world-class rehabilitation care to thousands of patients for traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, stroke and cancer recovery, and more. We are ranked as the NUMBER ONE rehabilitation hospital by U.S. News & World Report - 28 years and counting.
SkyRise Chicago is truly a special event. It’s the only tower climb in the world to offer two modes of participation - by foot up the Willis Tower stairs and via stationary hand-cycling the equivalent distance uphill.
I've been a part of this organization for over 10 years now. I am now working as Nurse Manager for the 21st floor Spinal Cord Injury Innovation Center. I love what I do because I've seen the difference we can make in the lives of our patients and their families. Help me as I challenge myself physically and mentally to complete the climb and support SRALab, a not-for profit hospital organization. Your donation will help SRALab continue to provide patients with world-class care for the brightest possible future.
